About The Project
Background
Muratsan Medical Complex was established in 2008 by renowned composer Edgar Gyanjumyan. The primary mission of the foundation is to support children with leukemia by providing treatment assistance, disseminating information about the disease, organizing educational events and publications on treatment methods, and gathering statistics on pediatric leukemia cases. The foundation also engages in charity activities to secure financial support and collaborates with foreign organizations sharing similar goals. Additionally, the foundation offers information, financial aid, and emotional support to families affected by leukemia, lymphoma, and other related blood disorders.
Volunteer Tasks
·Visiting children undergoing treatment in the hospital to play with them and organize engaging games and activities.
·Promoting the foundation's activities within international organizations and writing articles about these initiatives.
·Organizing charitable events for hospitals, where participants can donate gifts for children or join in games and concerts. Volunteers will have the opportunity to practice administrative skills in planning and organizing these events.
·Developing entertainment programs for children in the hospital.
·Organizing arts and crafts competitions in hospitals.
·Setting up Game Rooms in hospitals and arranging game hours for the children.
Volunteer Requirements
The volunteer should be active, communicative, and creative, with the ability to work well with coordinators and other responsible individuals. Proficiency in English writing and communication is also required.
