Technical Meeting of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations in Yerevan organized by Voluntary Service of Armenia HUJ (2026)
From 20 to 25 February, the Annual Technical Meeting of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations was held in Yerevan, graciously hosted by the Voluntary Service of Armenia HUJ. The event brought together members, partners, and guests from across the network for a dynamic program that combined bilateral meetings, interactive workshops, and engaging social activities.
Alongside the working sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore Armenia’s rich cultural heritage. The program included visits to the History Museum of Armenia, the National Gallery of Armenia, and the Sergei Parajanov Museum, as well as a stroll through the vibrant Vernissage Market and a visit to the iconic Blue Mosque. Participants also enjoyed an excursion into the mountains, discovering the historic Garni Temple and the breathtaking Geghard Monastery, complemented by a traditional lavash-making experience.
The meeting proved to be both productive and memorable, offering a valuable platform to strengthen partnerships while reconnecting with friends and colleagues from around the world.
Celebration of the International Volunteer Day with HUJ volunteers and staff
On December 5th, HUJ hosted a special event to celebrate International Volunteer Day, bringing together volunteers, staff, and esteemed guests for a memorable occasion.
The program featured lively dancing, a delicious dinner, and a heartfelt award ceremon.
It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate, and honor the shared values that make this day so meaningful. The event truly highlighted the power of volunteering and the incredible bond it creates among us all.
