The camp in SOS Children’s village is organized for the 2nd time this year. It is situated in the region of Tavush (143 km from Yerevan).
The SOS Children’s Village is a place where children-orphans found their new mothers, sisters and brothers and live in families. It is concerned about all children, particularly those who have no parental care and those whose families have to live in difficult conditions. 6-7 children live in separate cottages with their SOS mothers. SOS Children’s village in Armenia is built and is financed by SOS-Kinderdorf international non-governmental social development organization.
SOS Children's Villages revolve around the effort to give children who have lost their parents or who are no longer able to live with them a permanent home and a stable environment. The SOS Children's Village family-like structure is formed by four basic principles: mother, brothers and sisters, house and village.
